History

Biocenology Laboratory was established in September 2006 at the bases of Parasitology and Functional Morphology Laboratory, which was established in 1987 to conduct research in biology. In November 2007 the laboratory was renamed as Biocenology Research Center. In 2009, the research center biocenology was combined with the research center of system environmental research.

Achievements

Mission is the conducting research studies on the biodiversity of Pavlodar region and adjacent territories, the implementation of ecological monitoring of the urban environment (urban ecosystems), organization of scientific and methodological work on the concept of sustainable development and green education.

Publication of scientific literature

In the research center it is led collecting and editing articles for the journal "Biological Sciences of Kazakhstan," which allows you to keep abreast of the latest achievements of modern biology. Decision of the Board Committee on Control in Education and Science MES of KR "Biological Sciences of Kazakhstan" journal is included in the list of publications to publish the main results of theses on biological specialties, which confirms the quality of the editorial board and scientific credibility of the magazine. During the period from 1998 when the "Biological Sciences of Kazakhstan" started publishing the magazine has been gaining popularity not only in Kazakhstan but also outside it. Scientists from different regions of Kazakhstan and Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Turkey, France and Germany publish the results of their research on pages of journal. It is accepted articles covering the biological, environmental and health issues.

International relations

SC has close scientific ties with colleagues from educational and scientific institutions of Kazakhstan and abroad, it makes the possibility to expand research, to create an atmosphere debatable, to exchange of experience in solving scientific problems.
